A long update

I really really should update more often. My apologies for this being another long post. That being said...can you see my happy dance from where you are??? Where should I start?

First of all...MOTHERS DAY
I got spoiled - my youngest daughter gave me golden earrings (my mouth fell open) and my older daughter a beautiful perfume called Halle (by Halle Berry). From my husband I got a gift certificate for an Australian LNS. With that all I was more then happy.

But to my surprise shortly after Mothers Day a packet arrived. It was from the US - Wasatch Needlecraft - and addressed to Mike????? Did my husband start secretly stitching? No - but even better. He got me another gift....The Garden Chair from the Cat's Whiskers...fully kitted up!!! And no ladies - you can't have him. He's all mine. Same applies to the Garden Chair!!!

But there are more happy dances
Another page of "Coming to Water" is finished. 5 more pages to go.
page 11 finished

And I finished one of the hearts and started the second heart.
Heart Alphabet

Got a bit more done on Manhattan Wonderland. My plan is to finish the first page this month.
Week 06

And I received also a RAK from my dear friend Carla. She sent me a chart of some beautiful snowflakes. It's called Nordic Snowflakes and is designed be Laura J Perin

Let me start from the bottom up. I love your RAK. And you stitch so beautifully and so quickly. The heart is wonderful. Coming to water is looking spectacular.
You were spoiled but you deserve it. I got all excited when my DH bought a steering wheel cover for me so I won't get black on my hands like I do with the current one. I would fall out if he bought needlework for me!

Coming to Water is awesome! Just look at how those animals are just appearing and coming right at you! Make sure you're chatting with me when you start construction of the chair....not because I can help, but because I'll be your support when you are ready to pull your hair out! Just kidding....you are so talented at putting those gorgeous boxes together, I know you'll be able to do the chair. DH must know you needed a good *pick me up* present! Love the hearts as always and a great RAK from Carla...I may just have to borrow that one when you're done! I love the autumn needlepoint piece I did.

Hi, Gabi, What a great Mother's Day from each of your family! You must have been feeling like a queen for sure.
Amazing stitching on your wildlife piece. And, what a kind friend to treat you, too.
BTW, you and I are Chatelaine Designs stitchers! Isn't Martina's new "Fairies" beautiful as it progresses? I may have to have that one for my collection!
