Poinsettia Place and a new Start

First of all my apologies. I'm a terrible blogger at times. It's Summer here and it's kinda busy. We're changing the garden and that takes quite some time. I also became member of Weight Watchers to loose the pounds I piled recently up. Thanks to my chocolate addiction thyroid problem.
Or even better, lets blame Santa. He brought way too many sweets. I'm totally innocent here!!!

Seen that Santa refuses to take away the pounds that have magically appeared, I'm back on track to walk almost every morning and started also a training program for running.  But boy does running tire you out if you're not used to it. I fall asleep soon as I sit down it seems...lol.
I do stitch every evening a while though. I just need that. That's the most treasured moment of the day.

There is a little finish I have to show....

Great stitching. All the best for the weight loss - seems harder to exercise in the heat doesn't it?

Fantastic stitching, Gabi! You go girl on the weight loss and running. I'd love to take up running but that would require me to get up off the sofa first, something I am never very keen to do. :P Best of luck with it.

Gorgeous colors in Poinsettia Place! As for the weight loss/exercise: in the choice between walking and stitching, stitching usually wins, which isn't doing me any favors. I'd love to run, but I'll have to shed a few pounds first. And I love your new little red car--so cute and zippy looking!

Your village is looking good, I was so tempted with this series but maybe next year.

Good luck with your diet, Santa brings far too many chocolates and I cannot resist them.

Weight Watchers works...good luck in your weight loss.
I agree with you about running...ugh! but it is very effective for weight loss.

Your Santa's Village looks great. So many people are working on that, I am tempted to join in but I have too much on my plate already.

I was gifted the first 2 patterns of the village and now I need to see more of them and decide what material to use and whether to do all on one. I might have to wait until all 12 are out to decide!! Your new project looks very pretty!
I know what you mean about exercise tiring you out! Everyone talks about the "high" you get after exercising...I always get the urge for a nap too! Good luck trying to shed those pesky pounds!
